Join us for Mob First Mob Fed V, a Mob Only gathering and First Nations community evening at the Wyndham Cultural Centre. Come for a yarn, stay for the feed and first look at Wyndham Art Gallery’s next exhibition. This MFMF previews the exhibition REMNANTS: What Remains and What Flows, ahead of its opening to the public along with catching up with Wurundjeri artist Georgia MacGuire as our special guest.
Special Guest: Georgia MacGuire
Georgia MacGuire is a Wurundjeri artist working across weaving and sculpture, in materials such as possum skin, paperbark and emu feathers, and as grounded in south-eastern Aboriginal culture and practice. Her work explores culture, identity and the lives of First Nations women, and includes public art commissions such as Woven Together (2025) at the Truganina Community Centre. She has recently begun a series of weaving workshops with First Nations women here in Wyndham, and at Mob First Mob Fed V you'll get to hear from Georgia herself.
