Mob First Mob Fed III, a Mob Only gathering providing the First Nations community with a sneak peek of the 2026 Wyndham Art Prize exhibition and yarns with Yorta Yorta/Wamba Wamba/Mutti Mutti/Boonwurrung artist Dr Maree Clarke. Maree will share stories about her extraordinary career, her deep connection to Wyndham, and the vital role of south-east Aboriginal art practices.

Dr Maree Clarke (Yorta Yorta/Wamba Wamba/Mutti Mutti/Boonwurrung) is a pivotal figure in the reclamation of south-east Australian Aboriginal art practices. A former Wyndham Art Gallery curator, Maree returns to share insights on her artistic journey, cultural revitalisation work, and reflections on this year's Art Prize finalists.
Maree's recent accolades include her 2021 major survey exhibition
Ancestral Memories at the National Gallery of Victoria, the Metro Tunnel Linewide Commission (2020-2025), and her appointment as lead artist for Melbourne's Stolen Generations Marker monument.
