Heathdale Christian College proudly presents Shrek The Musical! With 150 students involved across the cast, crew and supporting production teams, we are delighted to share this show with you.
Based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film, Shrek The Musical is a Tony Award-winning fairy-tale adventure that brings familiar characters to life on stage and reminds us that there's more to every story than meets the eye.
"Once upon a time, there was a little ogre named Shrek..." And so begins the journey of an unlikely hero who sets out to rescue a feisty princess, joined by a wisecracking Donkey and surrounded by a colourful cast of fairy-tale misfits. Along the way, Shrek discovers friendship, courage and what it truly means to belong.
Irreverently fun and full of heart, Shrek the Musical is a family-friendly production proving that beauty is truly in the eye of the ogre. We can't wait to bring our community together to celebrate the hard work of our students.
