INSA Artist Talk
Join Wyndham City for an exclusive artist talk with INSA, the internationally recognised British artist known for his distinctive style, large-scale murals and pioneering GIF-ITI practice.
INSA is known globally for his innovative and technically complex artworks, with a practice spanning large-scale public artworks, digital media, design and commercial projects. In 2010, he pioneered GIF-ITI, a meticulous process of repeatedly repainting and photographing murals to create animated GIFs, later integrating augmented reality to bring these works back into the physical environment. His work explores time, space, consumption and transience, with GIF-ITI remaining a defining element of his practice.
Held at Wyndham Cultural Centre in Werribee, this informal talk will explore INSA’s creative journey and the ideas, processes and influences behind his work.
INSA will share insights into developing a creative practice across art, design, technology and popular culture, as well as his experiences working internationally and collaborating across different creative industries.
The session is an opportunity to hear directly from an established international artist and gain an insight into the realities of developing and sustaining a creative career.

This event is designed for creatives in Wyndham, including artists, designers, illustrators, photographers, animators and people working across creative and cultural industries.
You don't need to be an artist to attend. Anyone interested in contemporary or urban art, digital creativity or creative careers is welcome.
